To Joy of Voting is an online collaboration betweenCitizen University’s Joy of Voting project and The Digital Press at the University of North Dakota.

The project’s goal is literally to broadcast Grand Forks residents’ joy of voting. It shares and amplifies the townspeople’s favorite stories about voting, doing so with the hope that these tales will resonate with those who read them and encourage everyone to reflect on their own fondest voting memories.

Citizen University’s Joy of Voting project invokes the tradition of parades, street theatre, open-air debates, and festivals, all of which were once part of a vibrant culture of voting in the United States.
