Elwyn Robinson’s History of North Dakota continues to stand as the definitive history of the state despite being published over 50 years ago.

Robinson.

Original published by the University of Nebraska Press in 1966 with an expanded print version published by NDSU Press, The Digital Press is currently working a supplement in collaboration with North Dakota Quarterly, where a series of essays celebrating the books’ 50th anniversary has already appeared.
